I am a mother of 2 small babes who motivate me to continue turning my passion into business. I am a lover of all things food & hospitality. I work as a private chef here in Nashville, TN & do private catering for various events from corporate gigs to studio sessions. Rosemary Smashed Potatoes

So technically smashed potatoes are supposed to be made with tiny potatoes that you smash whole. BUT. It is possible like this & I actually love using sweet potatoes for smashed potatoes. The rosemary gives them all that comfort food feels.

Rosemary Smashed Potatoes

2 sweet potatoes

4 Yukon gold potatoes

Salt for water

Olive oil

1 tbsp chopped rosemary

1 tbsp salt 

Chop your potatoes into large chunks. Boil them until soft & preheat your oven to 400. Cover your sheet pan in a large guzzle of olive oil. Place potatoes onto sheet pan and use the back of a spatula to smash down. Season them with salt, pepper & rosemary. Drizzle with more olive oil and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
