I am a mother of 2 small babes who motivate me to continue turning my passion into business. I am a lover of all things food & hospitality. I work as a private chef here in Nashville, TN & do private catering for various events from corporate gigs to studio sessions. Brooke's Butternut Pesto Pizza

This is called Brooke’s butternut pesto pizza because I truly cannot take credit for this flavor combo. We were at a friends house a few weeks ago doing a DIY pizza night. This was the flavors she put together & I loved it so much that when I got home I knew I had to recreate it for the blog!

Brookes Butternut Pesto Pizza —

1 x onion, caramelized

2 cups chopped butternut squash, roasted 

1 x pizza dough

Pesto

Pine nuts

Mozzarella 

Preheat your oven to 425. Roll out your pizza dough to your desired thinness and place on a greased baking sheet. Spread your pesto over the dough & top with the caramelized onions. Sprinkle your desired amount of cheese over the pesto & onions then top with the roasted butternut squash & pine nuts. Bake for 12-18 minutes until the crust is crisp and cheese is melty.
