Hi!

I am a mother of 2 small babes who motivate me to continue turning my passion into business. I am a lover of all things food & hospitality. I work as a private chef here in Nashville, TN & do private catering for various events from corporate gigs to studio sessions. My favorite part about cooking is the element of gathering people from all walks of life together with one thing in common. Enjoying a meal together. I grew up with a family that taught me through the generations that food is love. I hope that here you find some joy, some memories & some long lasting recipes to fill your home (& bellies)!

Strawberry White Chocolate Scones

Strawberry White Chocolate Scones

I am always shocked at how truly easy making scones it. They always seem like some fancy baking task that is out of my reach. Until I am craving them & whip up a batch to remind myself they are SO EASY! They are also great to keep in the freezer for anytime you have guests pop over or simply feel like a warmed up fresh scone.

White Chocolate Strawberry Scones —

2 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

4 tsp sugar

1/4 cup grated salted butter

1 cup strawberries, chopped

1/2 cup white choc chips

1.5 cups heavy cream

Preheat your oven to 400. In a bowl mix together your dry ingredients. Grate your butter then mix in gently to the dry ingredients until combined. Gently fold in your strawberries, white choc chips & heavy cream and mix until batter JUST forms. Do not over mix! It will be crumbly but that is okay. Pat dough into a disk and slice into 8 scones. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet & bake for 18-20 mins.
